Open to a variety of types and breeds, our in-hand section includes classes for:
πΉ Native, Riding Horse, Show Pony & Hunter Types
πΉ Veterans, Coloureds, and Part-Breds
πΉ Miniatures and Mountain & Moorland
Each horse or pony is presented in-hand and assessed by the judge for breed type, manners, turnout, and movement in walk and trot. Handlers are expected to present their animal professionally and in suitable, traditional show attire.
π Championship Qualification
Winners and top-placed combinations may qualify for In-Hand Championships, where the best of the best compete for coveted JHOYS Champion Rosettes and Sashes.
