Dressage
What Is Dressage?
At its most basic level, dressage is about knowing how to control the horse through the different paces from halt to walk, trot and canter, and how to steer the any given direction. At the highest level, it's about using the power, elegance and impeccable training of the horse to execute complex movements as required by the test or choreographed to music. Our riders will compete from an Introductory level up to Advanced Medium where movements and test become more complicated as they rise through the levels.

Our Judges
Dressage Judges - Anne Greenaway & Sue Carson !
Anne Greenaway - List 2 Judge
"I started judging in 2012, fast-tracked to List 4 and have upgraded to List 2 since then.
I started riding aged 7 with naughty ponies and – being tall – graduated to horses quite quickly! I completed my BHSII and competed in dressage, eventing and show jumping on various horses at various times in my life.
I bred 2 horses from my eventing mare – one of which was long-listed for Beijing Olympics (not with me riding I hasten to add!). I have competed in Dressage to Inter1, Horse Trials to Intermediate and tasted side-saddle and Polo en route.
I’ve worked in Medical Research, HR & IT before setting up my business as a Consultant in Change Management. Now I am enjoying retirement!"
